Care

Slip it over, pull it up, tie it around, zip it all the way and wear your amazing new piece with love.

Generally

To ensure that your new American-made, organic, sustainable, Canadian-made, quality sh!t garment lasts so long that your childrens’ children will think its vintage and wanna wear it, you’d better care of it right. First off, read the label and do what it says.

Some of the garments may need to be taken down to the local drycleaner so don’t mess around. Take it as an opportunity to meet a new face.

Raw Denim

Raw denim is a whole different bag of beans. That’s what my Dad would say anyway. Don’t wash them, well, at least not for the first six months. We’re serious. The longer you wear them the more character and attitude they develop. Yah you want them to stand on their own.

If you do have a crazy night and get a little sloppy, then rub with a damp cloth to remove stains. If you need to get rid of a smell, hang your jeans outside in damp weather. We’ve also heard that putting them in the freezer or hanging them over your deck when it’s below zero outside will freshen them up.

When it’s finally time to wash your well-worn jeans, wash at 40 or 60 degrees Celsius. Hang dry, don’t tumble.

BE WARNED, if you wash the jeans too early, the indigo just bleeds out over the whole garment, producing an even, dark indigo colour. But maybe that’s what you’re into.
